What is a gluteal lipoinjection?

Glute augmentation surgery is also known as gluteal lipoinjection, consists of removing excess fat from any part of your body, procedure done through a liposuction which is then injected in the glutes to increase the volume and improve the shape in this area.

This method is convenient for those whose glutes appear to fall and sag with time, weight fluctuation or genetic reasons, or the glutes are not balanced with the rest of the body. This is an efficient solution since it is an autologous graft tissue (one’s own tissue), it improves the volume and aspect with a very natural consistency.

Our staff at Salutaris, leader in plastic surgery in Guadalajara is formed by a group of highly qualified Orthopedic Surgeons that will accompany you throughout the entire process until the appearance you seek has been achieved.

How is a glute liposuction done?

A glute lipoinjection takes from 1 to 5 hours, depending on the areas to be treated. In this surgery, after the anesthesia is applied, incisions will be made preferably in hidden areas, close to the areas to work on.

The cannulas will be introduced through these incisions, a solution containing a vasoconstrictor that reduces blood loss will be infiltrated, then will proceed to perform the liposuction and remove the previously applied solution and excess fat. Once it is removed, an injection in the intramuscular plane takes place.

Once the surgery is performed, you will need to remain at the hospital within the next 12 to 24 hours. With this method you will give firmness and volume to your glutes in a safe, natural and effective way.
