LIVER
The liver is the biggest internal organ, placed in the top part of the abdomen, under the diaphragm. It is a glandular organ in charge of many important functions, such as the synthesis of plasmatic proteins, detoxification function, storage of vitamins and glycogen, besides secretion of bile, between others.
BILIARY BLADDER
Membranous sack in the low face of the liver, which serves of reservoir to the bile and is continued by the cystic duct (excretory duct of bile).
PANCREAS
The pancreas is a gland located behind the stomach and ahead of the column. It produces juices that help decompose food and hormones that help control the levels of sugar in the blood.
